Mission

• Offers animal agriculture courses.
• Ensures courses are given adequately in theory and practice to in-service or pre-service students so that they are empowered to serve animal agriculture in their own capacity as entrepreneurs or as public or private sector employees.
• Carry out research, sometimes in collaboration with other stakeholders, in areas of national concern aimed at generating new knowledge in the improvement of animal performance.
• Offer to the farming community packages such as public lectures and demonstrations, ambulatory clinic, herd health and consultancy in all aspects of animal agriculture.
